Downtown Alachua

 

I mentioned in an earlier post that our Christmas parade was cancelled.  So, I was on the lookout for something new to do.  When I saw that Alachua (a nearby town) was having something going on, I decided that we should go!  I'm so glad we did!

The ambiance was perfect.  They had horse and carriage rides!  How fun!

They had a bubble machine going so it made you feel like there was snow.  That's the Florida way to do it!  (Don't hate me all my northern readers. :o) )

They had music playing by different groups around Main Street.  It was just an all around great evening!
