Mrs. Pastorcita

The Ladies of VSIBC are so good to me.  Every year, Tabitha organizes a birthday celebration for me.  This year I was told to come to the church for a "Fiest for La Pastorcita."  How fun!!

When I got to the church is was all decked out for a Fiesta!  Complete with the amazing smell of Tacos!

We ate (a ton) of tacos, cheese dip and churros.  Then, they showered me with gifts.  Soo many!  They also went in together to buy me a Pandora bracelet with two charms.  One of them is a cute, adorable Sombrero.  Just looking at it makes me smile, and feel so loved. :)

Then we played a bunch of fun games like pin the tail on the donkey and hit the pinata.

 

When God called us to High Springs, I didn't realize all that was in store.  We had never been "Pastor and Mrs. Pastor." It's not always been easy. I didn't know that a Pastor's family's heart can be so easily broken.  But I also didn't know the flip side of that....the blessings.  God has given us people that make us feel so special and loved.  We really are one big family.  We cry together.  We laugh together.  We serve Jesus together.  God sure has blessed above and beyond.
