But it's also been fun making Cheese!
I love making a soft farmers cheese. I sometimes simmer the milk with fresh herbs from Micahs garden such as thyme, basil and parsley. Other times I have mixed in Sriracha and Honey, or I've done chocolate and sea salt. My latest creation is Mango Habanero. So delicious!
And then with the leftover whey I use it to boil my rice in. We love that!
Only a few more weeks and then I'll let my does dry up for the summer. For now I have the freezer bursting, creamy, glorious milk!!
