I'm back!

 Well it's been a quiet 6 months on my blog. But I'm happy to say that I'm back 🙂

I guess a little backstory would be best. Just to summarize it down, there were some views on my blog that were a little bit troubling and for safety reasons I felt it would be best just to shut things down for a little time. I didn't really know for how long, but I knew I wanted to lean on the Lord for Him to tell me when would be the best time to start it again. 

I have loved blogging! I have loved keeping track of our family's blessings and journey, and having a little online scrapbook. I've loved writing devotions and connecting with friends online. But all of that takes second place to my family's safety. That's my priority 🙂

A little before Christmas I wrote a post on Facebook encouraging Mamas to not be overwhelmed and have too high expectations this time of year. It was good for me to write it all down. I needed it for sure! It was after I posted it that I felt that nudge from the Holy Spirit to start blogging again. I prayed a bit just to make sure that it was His leading and not mine. And I'm thankful to say that I'm going to start blogging again! 

So thank you for your support. And for your patience. And for your encouraging comments. I'm excited to start sharing what God's doing in our life! And in my heart 🙂 He is so good to me!
