God keeps blessing!

God is so very good to us and blessing us beyond measure!  Things are moving right along in the building process at VSIBC.  Last September we were able to get a loan to be able to finish the building.  Yes, it's taking longer and more money than we expected.  But we are moving along and so happy to get approved for the loan to be able to keep building.  But then in February we were approved for a grant.  We were given $668,000!! Isn't that so exciting!?  Read those numbers again....yes there are 6 of them!  It's so incredible!!

It was so much fun announcing to the people of VSIBC what God had done!

I love my church family and it was so wonderful to share this memory with them!

Then it was time to celebrate!  We had cupcakes and enjoyed an evening together praising God for His goodness to us!

So what exactly does this mean?  After using the grant money we will still have a balance to pay on the loan.  Of course it will be nothing like the loan we were originally approved for!  Because we are using the loan and the grant to finish the building, we have to be done by September.  That's just around the corner!  There is plenty of work to be done and Patrick and I find ourselves up there almost on a daily basis seeing it all take shape.  This summer will be a busy one!  Because fall is just around the corner!

I'm so proud of these two.  They worked tirelessly on filling out paperwork for the loan and the grant.  They've learned so much along the way and put in many long hours.  So excited to see things moving with our building!
