Baby Food Jars

Not too long ago, I asked all of my facebook friends for ideas on what to do with all of our leftover baby food jars. There were some very fun ideas of crafts that we might make. But, for now I think I found the best use for them....to hold more baby food! Patrick and I (well, mostly Patrick) made Sweet Potatoes, Carrots, Green Beans, and Peaches for Silas. Hopefully this should last him a little bit. Right now he goes through about 2 baby food jars a day. He has half a jar of fruit with his cereal in the morning. Then, a jar of veggies for lunch, then I mix another half jar of fruit or veggies with his cereal at dinner time. He is really enjoying his food! It won't be long until he's sharing some of my plate!

  1. great idea! i make my own baby food too.....you can make it and use ice cube trays to freeze it....then put it in plastic freezer bags and it's ready to go!
