Shortly after returning from Israel, it was Thanksgiving Day, my favorite day of the year!
The kids loved this tablecloth you can color! It kept them busy during the meal prep of all our favorite foods!
Everyone took part in helping with preparing the food. When Josh sat down to peel potatoes, I sat with him and enjoyed this time with my boy. The wedding is just around the corner!
Beth did a great job making a pumpkin pie. Brenna made the pecan. Sooo yum!
We had a wonderful time around the table sharing blessings. When it was Joshua's turn he said,
"I'm thankful for my family that I have, and for my family to come." Of course, tears flowed down my cheeks. I looked around and everyone else's were the same.
Lovely Thanksgiving. The food looks yum and it's so nice to have so many wonderful bakers and cooks in the family. Josh's words are so touching for you I'm sure as he is about to be out on his own very soon. The "giving thanks" tree is a wonderful idea too. Have a fabulous lead up to the beautiful season of Christmas. xx
