We celebrated this girls 8th birthday not too long ago. Can it really be 8 years ago? Although this stinker told most people she was turning 9 or 11. Silly girl!
We took her pictures in the middle of a wild flower field. One of her favorite places. She loves it!
She's growing up so much and Patrick and I are noticing that she is a perfect mix of Beth and Brenna. Spunky, yet somewhat sensible. Silly, but sensitive. Fun, full of gigles, ready to read a good book or go play in the mud and find frogs. So much fun she is!
She's almost done with 2nd grade and she is excelling very well. She loves school and loves Abeka DVDs. She thinks Mrs. Chappel is amazing. Callie pauses the video every so often so I can see something new she's learning or what fun thing Mrs. Chappel is doing today.
So thankful for that!
I'm also so blessed to have a little girl that loves the Lord. She's developing great devotion habits and first thing in the morning you will find her reading God's Word. She wants to read through the whole Bible and is checking off many books. She's getting there! She's also learning to get up with her alarm. Totally her idea, which is great! She's growing up quick and I'm enjoying every minute with my girl. These times are a treasure!
