One of my favorite things our family does together is to have our annual I Love You Banquet. It's such a sweet time. And I always manage to talk my family into a family photo, so it's a double win for me 🥰🥰🥰
We always do a normal pose, then a serious one. I can never decide which is my favorite. The real us, or the posed. 😂
A month or so beforehand we exchange names. It's supposed to be a secret but none of us is any good at that! The rule is you're not supposed to spend any money but just create something.
Victory had Freedom's name and baked her a goodie🙂
Freedom has Silas's name and baked him donut muffins. They were gone by the back next morning!

Micah had Beth's name and made her a candle in a teacup.
Callie had Patrick's name and painted him a sign for his office.
Silas had Micah's name and created him an inventor's handbook with all kinds of ideas.
Are Brenna painted me some cute baby goat signs for o our Stork's Nest birthing pen 🙂 I love it!
Tabitha had Callie's name and made her homemade popsicles. And wrote her a very sweet note that brought tears to our eyes.
Beth had AJ's name and printed out a sample cover of another book she's working on that she's going to be dedicating to him. So very sweet!
Josh had liberty's name and wrote her a really cool book about a cat!
Aj had Brenna's name and wrote her a note and a poem that was off limits for the rest of us to read! 😉
I had Josh's name and I gave him clippings that I had started from a plant that my mom had given me clippings over 20 years ago from my Pappaw's funeral. That plant has lasted a long time! It's made it long enough to pass it down to my son for his new office.
We all dress up, take pictures, exchange gifts, eat a great meal, enjoyed dessert, and just love the time together. I love memories made with my family!! Especially homemade , thoughtful ones.
