A day out with my boy

My Micah is growing up.  I mean really he is.  He is taller than me now.  He is smarter than me.  And he is growing into a great young man.  I love to spend time with him and we have so much fun together!

  He has recently bought Silas's rabbit business from him. That's a longer story, but basically, Silas is growing up, too, and decided it was time to move on.  So Micah has taken the business over and is doing a great job!  One of the things he wanted to do it sell some of the older rabbits and keep a hand selected group for breeding.  He has a lot of great ideas!  So off to the auction we went!  

We decided to get there early to be in line to drop off the 7 rabbits he was selling.  We arrived just a few minutes after the gates were open and the line was already soooo long!!  The animals at the front get to be bid on first. We waited an hour to check in our rabbits.

Then we had about 2 hours to spare before the auction actually started.  Micah took me out to dinner.  What a gentleman!  We ate at Captain D's and it was so delicious!

Then it was off to the auction!  We had such a great time!  I bid on a hose and got it for $5!  yay!

Micah was able to sell all of his rabbits at a really great price.  Things are booming in the rabbit business and we are having a great time along the way!
