Keeping it Visible

I am enjoying the hymn for this month!  The melody is beautiful and the words so powerful. Each day it seems a different phrase will stand out to me.  I also love how it goes along with Psalm 16:8,9.

I knew I wanted to keep the hymn visible somewhere in my home.  What better place than my dining room table!?  Does anyone else think that sheet music can be so beautiful?  I do!  I decided to put a portion of the scripture we are memorizing over the music.  What a good reminder for me!  If you would like to print this out, you can find the  file to print here. (I've never attached a PDF file to my blog, so please let me know if it doesn't work.)

I love having visual reminders around my home.  And I especially love having Scripture in my home.  It reminds me of Deuteronomy 6:6-9

And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.   And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes. And thou shalt write them upon the posts of thy house, and on thy gates.

Let me ask you,  Do you have a song in your heart for the Lord?  Are you praising Him, as David did, with your song?  When the Lord is "first in our heart"  we will be praising Him throughout the day!

  1. Lovely posts Kami. I went to the link for the PDF. It took me to my google drive and there I saw all my documents but none from you. Maybe others can find it but I did not.

  2. P.S. When I get a song in my heart, I find it stays there night and day for a few weeks. Then later I will get a new song. God bless :-)

  3. I just had a thought. You could upload the document as an image on the right sidebar of your blog. I think the gadget you use would be a photo image.
