After getting ready it was time to head outside for some pictures of our beautiful Brenna. When we were trying to figure out where to have the wedding, I'll be honest, our church wasn't the first option on my list. We are still renting our little metal building while we prepare to build. I had imagined my daughters marrying in a beautiful, regal, church building. But, as they discussed it, AJ and Brenna wanted to get married in our church, the place where they met. As they talked about it, I realized, too, that this really was the best location. I'm so thankful we had the ceremony there!
The photographer was so excited about the pretty white flowers in the background. What is funny is that one of the men of our church was planning on putting weed killer on them a few days before the wedding, but decided at the last minute not to. Yay for that! The background was so pretty!
Brenna wanted her bouquet to be huge, with white flowers, and lots of spriggy greenery. It was so neat watching the Lord provide! We had a couple of people give us things from their wedding. All of it was white flowers and spriggy greenery!! The Lord definitely gave her the desires of her heart!! It was so fun making the bouquets and watching all the little details come together.
My Mom asked Brenna if she would like to wear her grandmother's pearl earrings. (That would be Brenna's great-great Grandmother.) I was so thankful Brenna said yes!
Brenna decided to do her own makeup. She didn't want to be a bride that her groom didn't recognize. Ever been to a wedding like that? :o) She was stunning!!
A gorgeous bride. Everything is perfect, makeup, dress, bouquet, setting for the photos. Superb.
