"Merci" Quilt

I finally finished my latest quilt. I made it for Madame Roy. She is the pastor's wife of the church we are attending here in Quebec. She's been such a blessing teaching the girls Sunday School and teaching the children French last school year. I had fun picking out these fabrics with my Mom when she visited in May. This was my first time to make a 9 patch quilt. I decided to put sashing in between the squares, and I like how it brought out more of the paisley fabric. (I love paisley!)

I named the quilt "Merci" which means "thank you" in french. Appropriate, don't you think?
