Ladies Christmas Party

Precious and Amazing.  That's what the ladies of VSIBC are!For our Christmas Party this year we decided to incorporate a few things.

 

First we met at my house and got on the church bus.  We then drove to a sweet ladies beautiful home.  She had a lovely meal of chicken salad, chips and veggies with dip and also fresh fruit with dip.  It was all set up so pretty!!  Her house looks like it could be in a magazine.  Seriously! 

 

We then played a game called "Reindeer Games."  I divided everyone into two teams and they had to choose someone on their team to be a reindeer.  I gave them a bag with all the supplies they would need. Brenna and I were the judges.  So, why not snack on our favorites while we wait? :o)

The ladies had a lot of fun with this.  Lots of laughter happening!

 Then, we got back on the bus. We had appetizers while the handsome bus driver took us to a neighborhood that had lots of lights.  It was so pretty!  The ladies oohed and aahhed and clapped at all the beauty.  They really are so fun to be with!

 Then, we came back to my house.  This is the 3rd year for me to make Sparkling Cranberry Cake.  It is so delicious and always a hit.We finished of with a devotion reminding us that Jesus didn't come to just be a baby.  We focused on some of the names of Christ found in Scripture.  So thankful He came as a baby, but had a greater purpose.  His love took Him to the cross for me!  What a thought!  So thankful for Christmas!
